Aquatica San Diego:

After coming back from the annual IAAPA Expo (the international industry show for theme parks) this month with all kinds of new rides and innovations on my mind, I’m refreshed and ready to dive into the world of summer vacations. So without further ado, here are my picks for the best water parks in California: Aquatica San Diego Wild Rivers Irvine (or Temecula) Knott’s Soak City Huntington Beach . Great Wolf Lodge :

Great Wolf Lodge is one of the largest indoor water parks in North America. The top water parks in california has plenty of thrill rides, including the always-popular Howlin’ Tornado that sends riders into a twister funnel and then shoots them out onto an enormous 4-story tall waterslide. For non-adrenaline junkies there are also lots of family friendly options like the Great Bear Swim Passageway with its gentle sloping slides and splash pools. There’s even an onsite restaurant – Granny’s Kitchen – that serves up all your favorite American fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Raging Waters San Dimas:

This water park is one of the most underrated top water parks in california on the list. It has plenty of slides and is always clean with a great atmosphere. Raging Waters San Dimas may not have as many attractions as other places on this list, but it’s worth checking out when you’re looking for something new to do in Southern California. Located an hour away from Los Angeles and 20 minutes from downtown San Diego, there are so many things to do while visiting here. It’s also close to Knottā€™s Berry Farm and Legoland which makes it the perfect place for families!
This modest-sized waterpark offers both wet-and-wild thrills and fun activities for little ones. The staff is also very helpful; they never seem bored or burnt out. At least once per day there are lifeguards circulating through the park giving handouts about what dangers lurk at each attraction, ensuring that visitors feel safe at all times while on site!

Folsom Lake Plunge:

If you’re looking for the top water parks in california then Folsom Lake Plunge should be near the top of your list. Located about 20 miles east of Sacramento at Folsom Lake State Recreation Area on I-80, this is an excellent destination for those looking to cool down from the summer heat. Boasting four different waterslides and three pools with varying depths and attractions, it’s not a bad place to spend an afternoon or weekend. There’s something for all ages here; there are even shallow wading pools for kids under 48 inches tall! The park is also open during winter months when temperatures can dip below freezing; that’s right – you can enjoy this park all year long!

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk:

Hey Californians! I’ve been to over top water parks in california in the state and have ranked the best water parks based on my experience. The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is number one because it’s got something for everybody: from the Pacific Ocean to their famous Giant Dipper roller coaster, there are plenty of wet rides t Plus, they don’t charge any extra admission fee for water rides which is awesome. If you’re looking for watery fun, you can’t beat the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
